Initial overall concept design for Virgin high speed trains on both cross country and west coast routes.
Working with/as the lead design consultancy, work included production of full comprehensive design documents and details for the complete train project. The work input included the external vehicle (engine) design, exterior and interior graphics and interior design and finishes the project included managing the graphic and product design companies in line with the the overall design direction for implementation.
Work also included development and detailing and liaising with GEC Alstom and Bombardier for the west coast and cross country, and maintaining the design direction throughout to implementation and manufacturing.
